Introduction
As the developers of Train&Track, we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. And that's not just a nice-sounding phrase copied from ChatGPT, it's a reality. This privacy policy explains how we handle the information that is collected when you use our app.
Information collection and use
Train&Track does not require an internet connection for its core functionalities and does not send any data to external servers or third parties. All data generated or entered within the app, including training data, is only stored locally on your device.
Local storage
The app allows you to record training data that is stored locally on your device. This data is only accessible within the app and is not shared or transferred outside your device. Unless of course you decide to share training data that you can export yourself. But then that is your decision. Your data is only stored on your device within the secure and isolated storage area used by the app (app sandbox) and is only accessible through the app. This data only includes your training data (date stamps, names of exercises or workouts, as well as the time taken and/or the number of repetitions). This locally stored data is not shared with us or third parties and is only used to display your training history, i.e. the basic purpose of the app.
Data security
As all data is stored locally on your device, we recommend protecting your device with a strong password or other security measures.
Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy as necessary. Changes will take effect as soon as they are published on this page. We will transparently display any changes to this privacy policy when you start the app.
